When you go south, Seville is one of the destinations you may want to encounter to experience the Andalusian spirit. Colorful buildings, Arabic influence, Tapas all-day-every-day (patatas bravas, guys!) and an overload of majolicas details are just some of the key elements that will make you fall in love with the Spanish city, while wandering through its narrow streets or the Real Alcàzar’s gardens.

Hosted in Fondazione Prada until January 13th 2020, “Spitzmaus Mummy in a Coffin and Other Treasures” is an exhibition project conceived by Wes Anderson and his wife Juman Malouf in collaboration with the Wien Kunsthistorisches Museum.

The display is structured on the infamous model of the germanic Wunderkammer, as a collection of works divided in specific suggestive corners: from green objects to portraits, from miniatures to timepieces, from meteorites to the main character of the exhibition that is the Egyptian wooden box that houses a mummified shrew from the 4th century BC.

A must see to fully dive into Anderson’s signature aesthetic.
